About
HWC Aviation Group was established in 2025 as an independent technical advisory and services practice for complex, mission-critical aircraft. The practice builds on more than a decade of combined experience in the aviation industry — in technical operations, special mission programmes, commercial leadership, and the realities of acquiring, modifying, and sustaining the assets behind them.
Our work serves governments and operators internationally, across operational environments where reliable technical guidance and structured execution carry particular weight — and where the long-term consequences of acquisition and sustainment decisions are difficult to reverse.
HWC Aviation Group shares its founding team with Horizon Wings, a sister practice focused on regional European aviation. The two operations are organisationally separate; the connection lies in the disciplined approach to aviation that defines both.
The Team
Jerome Berg
Founder
Jerome brings substantial experience in building and leading successful businesses across multiple sectors — experience that shapes how he thinks about commercial structure, client relationships, and the long-term architecture of an advisory practice. In the Special Mission segment, he built the customer and partner network that continues to inform how HWC engages with the wider industry. At HWC, that combination defines how he positions the practice — strategically structured, commercially grounded, built to last.
David Fasching
Founder
Aviation is David's professional home. Formally trained in the field and shaped by years across multiple companies in the industry, he combines technical depth with commercial fluency — moving naturally between the engineering substance of an aircraft and the commercial structure of the programme around it. His work in the Special Mission segment has consistently demanded both: technical authority over the integration work, and the commercial judgement to navigate complex multi-party arrangements. At HWC, that combination defines how he engages — close to the technical reality, responsible for outcome.
